This company is a niche tax consultancy specialising in payroll taxes and employment status, with particular reference to intermediary staffing companies (employment agencies and umbrellas).  We cover the following areas:

• PAYE
• National Insurance
• Employment status
• IR 35
• Construction Industry Scheme
• Tax for employment agencies (including special VAT issues)
• Tax for umbrella companies (including special VAT issues)

We both give advice and deal with HMRC inquiries.  Naturally we prefer it when clients come to ask our advice before setting up, so that we can be sure that the business model has the tax effects intended.  Sometimes, however, it does not work out like that: you may have just stumbled into something unawares, or for all your advisers’ endeavours the Revenue just decide to have a go at you anyway.  In that case we can help you to see them off, or if that is not possible, at least get the best deal for you that we can.
